The DSN heating mat represents a state-of-the-art solution for protecting foil and sheet metal roofs. Its structure includes a durable glass fiber mesh on which a heating conductor with UV-resistant external insulation is securely attached. These heating mats act as an effective safety measure to prevent potential damage to roofs, gutters and buildings caused by adverse weather conditions. The outer diameter of the heating mat is a generous 7 mm, and the standard connection cable supplied is 3 m long, with a cross section of 3x1.5 (2.5) mm². For individual adaptation to specific requirements, it is possible to have the connecting cable made to measure. The minimum bending radius of 5 times the diameter of the cable and the minimum laying temperature of -5 °C underline the flexibility and adaptability of these heating mats. As an additional protective measure, it is recommended to install a 30 mA GFCI circuit to maximize the safety of the heating mat. Overall, DSN heating mats offer a reliable, efficient and tailor-made solution for protecting roofs and buildings from the effects of frost and snow, as well as potential damage caused by extreme weather conditions.
