BRS heating mat for concrete/rolled asphalt in parking garage entrances, emergency access routes, etc.
The BRS heating mat is used to keep parking garage entrance ramps, escape routes and entrance areas free of snow and ice. It is ideal for installation in concrete screed, flowing concrete, monolithic concrete, in-situ concrete as well as in 3 cm protective concrete and rolled asphalt. Thanks to their robust, impact-resistant design, BRS heating mats can also be used in areas subject to high mechanical loads. The heating conductor is resistant to spherical acids and alkalis. The special design and a single connection cable make it easy to install the heating mat. You can also choose from 18 different variants to find the perfect mat for your requirements. The variants differ in terms of the size and performance of the mats. The nominal temperature is up to 105 °C, the system is designed in accordance with EN60335 and is CE-compliant, protection class IP X7. The outer diameter is 7 mm, the connecting cable is 10 m long, with a cross-section of 3x1.5 (2.5) mm². The minimum bending radius is 5 d, the minimum installation temperature is -5 °C, and the heating conductor can withstand temperatures of 180 °C for 45 minutes. An RCD of 30 mA is required as a protective measure.

- Concrete installation: After laying the heating mats, the concrete is applied (concrete screed, flowing concrete, monolith concrete, in-situ concrete & 3 cm protective concrete)
- Asphalt installation: After laying the heating mats, the first layer of rolled asphalt is applied, distributed and compacted. Then apply the wearing layer. The application temperature of the rolled asphalt is 180 °C. The minimum thickness of the asphalt is 6 cm (2 x 3 cm). Grain size of the lower layer: 0 - 8 mm, grain size of the top layer: 0 - 8 mm or 0 - 11 mm.
