Heating mat for concrete and rolled asphalt - protection against snow and ice in various sizes
The BRS-303 heating mat is used to reliably keep parking garage entrance ramps, escape routes and entrance areas free of snow and ice. It is particularly suitable for installation in various types of concrete such as concrete screed, flowing concrete, monolithic concrete, in-situ concrete and protective concrete (3 cm thick). Thanks to its robust and impact-resistant design, the mat can also be used in areas with high mechanical loads. Type-303 is particularly suitable for public ramps, access roads, footpaths, parking garages and landing areas below 1000 m above sea level. The heating conductor is resistant to spherical acids and alkalis, and the design with only one connection cable makes installation considerably easier. There are 18 different variants to choose from, varying in size and output to meet different requirements. The nominal temperature of the mat reaches up to 105 °C, it is designed in accordance with EN60335 and CE-compliant, and it offers protection class IP X7. The outer diameter is 7 mm, the connecting cable is 10 m long with a cross-section of 3x1.5 (2.5) mm². The minimum bending radius is 5 d, the minimum installation temperature is -5 °C, and the heating conductor is able to withstand temperatures of 180 °C for up to 45 minutes. An RCD with 30 mA is recommended as a protective measure.

- Concrete installation: After laying the heating mats, the concrete is applied (concrete screed, flowing concrete, monolithic concrete, in-situ concrete & 3 cm protective concrete)
- Asphalt installation: After laying the heating mats, the first layer of rolled asphalt is applied, distributed and compacted. Then apply the wearing layer. The application temperature of the rolled asphalt is 180 °C. The minimum thickness of the asphalt is 6 cm (2 x 3 cm). Grain size of bottom layer: 0 - 8 mm, grain size of top layer: 0 - 8 mm or 0 - 11 mm.
