Heating mat for mastic asphalt with 250 W/m² - protection against ice and snow in driveways
The GSN outdoor heating system is designed for installation in mastic asphalt and reliably ensures that parking garage entrance ramps, emergency access roads and entrance areas are kept free of snow and ice. The GSN heating mat consists of a robust glass-fiber armoured mesh to which a dipole heating conductor is attached. The maximum application temperature of the system is 240 °C for up to 35 minutes. The glass-fibre armored mesh prevents the heating conductor from floating and it is essential to lay the mesh with the glass-fibre surface facing upwards.

This special construction ensures safe installation and high stability of the heating mat without the need to attach it to the subfloor. For best performance, the asphalt should be applied in two layers, each 2 cm thick. The heating conductor is also resistant to spherical acids and alkalis. With an output of 250 W/m², the outdoor heating is perfect for smaller private ramps, driveways, terraces and walkways below 1000 m above sea level.
