Heating mat for mastic asphalt with 300 W/m² - Against snow and ice in driveways
The GSN outdoor heating system has been specially developed for installation in mastic asphalt and reliably ensures that parking garage entrance ramps, emergency access roads and entrance areas remain free of snow and ice. The heating mat consists of a hard-wearing glass-fiber armoured mesh to which a dipole heating conductor is attached. The system can be used for up to 35 minutes at a maximum application temperature of 240 °C. This special construction ensures safe installation and ensures that the heating mat is highly stable without the need for attachment to the subfloor. To achieve the best performance, the asphalt should be applied in two layers, each 2 cm thick. The heating conductor is resistant to spherical acids and alkalis, which increases its longevity. With an output of 300 W/m², the open-air heating is ideal for public ramps, driveways, walkways, parking garages, landing pads and much more below 1000 m above sea level. The heating mat is also available in 18 different sizes, so that it can be flexibly adapted to different requirements.
