Why mount an infrared heater on the wall?

Infrared wall-mounted heaters are the most popular type because they blend seamlessly into familiar living spaces. In most cases, there is already space and a power outlet where a convector heater or night storage heater used to be.

The advantages of wall mounting:

• Direct heat: The radiation hits the body from the side, which many people find particularly comfortable (similar to the warmth of a fireplace).
• Easy replacement: Ideal for renovations. Old heating system out, flat panel in.
• Decoration: Since the heater is hung at eye level, it can be deliberately used as a design element (e.g. as a picture or mirror).

The optimal location: interior wall or exterior wall?

Positioning is crucial for efficiency. Unlike convection heaters, which are often mounted under windows, different rules apply to infrared heaters.

The Golden Rule:
Ideally, mount the radiator on an interior wall so that it radiates heat into the room and onto the opposite exterior wall .

Why?
The infrared rays warm the cold exterior wall. A warm wall provides better insulation and radiates heat back into the room. If you were to hang the panel directly against the cold exterior wall (without proper insulation on the back), heat energy could be lost to the outside.

Important: Do not cover the panel! A sofa or curtain directly in front of the heater blocks the radiation ("visual contact principle").

From white panel to picture heater

Since wall heating systems are highly visible, their appearance plays a major role. In our product range, you'll find the perfect model for every interior design style:

• Picture radiator: Turn your radiator into a work of art. Choose from hundreds of designs or have your own photo printed on it. No one will suspect that the painting on the wall is actually your radiator.
• Glass and stone: High-gloss glass or solid natural stone (marble/granite) create an exclusive ambience and retain heat for a little longer.
• Chalkboard heating: You can write on the black surface with chalk in the kitchen or hallway.

No more mold: The drying effect

An infrared heater on the wall is one of the most effective weapons against mold.

Mold develops where warm, humid air condenses on cold walls (moisture). Because infrared heating directly warms the walls, the wall temperature is higher than the air temperature. Condensation has no chance to form, and the wall remains dry. Simply deprive the mold of its breeding ground!

Installation control

The assembly is a true "do-it-yourself" project:

1. Drill two to four holes (depending on the model size).
2. Insert the wall plugs and screws or the supplied wall bracket.
3. Hang the panel. Special safety devices hold it securely in place and prevent it from falling.
4. Plug the device into the wall socket.

Control: To heat efficiently, you should install a thermostat (plug-in or built-in). This allows you to set target temperatures and schedules.

What power output (watts) is required for what room size?

It's better to choose a slightly higher power setting than too low. The panel will then run for a shorter time to reach the target temperature, which saves energy.

Guideline values ​​for wall heating systems (ceiling height up to 2.50m):

• 200 - 300 watts: For guest toilets, small areas or as additional heating at the desk.
• 400 - 500 watts: For small rooms (approx. 6 - 10 m²).
• 600 - 800 watts: The standard for medium-sized rooms (approx. 10 - 16 m²).
• 900–1200 watts: For large living spaces (18 m² and above). Tip: In large rooms, it's better to use two medium-sized panels on different walls for better heat distribution.
