Big hotel chain fully relies on soap dispenser systems

A big hotel chain has just announced that they will be replacing the individual bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and soap, with hygienic dispensers. In the past we've seen this at some limited service hotels (since this is obviously cheaper).

This plastic sustainability initiative is expected to save an average of 250lbs plastic waste per year for a 140-room hotel -- approximately 23.000 plastic bottles.

Not surprisingly, this is being marketed as a plastic-saving initiative, though the VP of sustainablility calls it a ''win-win''.

Reducing plastic waste - Producing less waste

By switching from loose soaps, bottles of shampoos and the like to hygienic-dispensers such as soap dispensers, shampoo dispensers and lotion dispensers, you can save a lot of money and a lot of plastic waste! Plastic waste increasingly pollutes the environment and through this kind of initiatives the plastic waste generated by a hotel or catering-business, is reduced.
