The main feature is the large-surface wheels (often 200mm in diameter or more). Whether puncture-proof solid rubber tires or pneumatic tires – this technology minimizes rolling resistance on gravel or grass surfaces and protects the joints of staff during long walks outdoors.
Our outdoor trolleys are made of hot-dip galvanized steel or UV-stabilized polypropylene. These materials are resistant to moisture, road salt, and direct sunlight. Many models are based on the proven cleaning trolley design but are mechanically reinforced for higher impact loads.
These carts, designed for collecting leaves, green waste, or industrial bulky waste, are usually equipped with holders for 120-liter to 240-liter bags. They can be ideally combined with transport trolleys to efficiently move full bags to the collection point.
For soft surfaces (grass, soil), use trolleys with pneumatic tires to prevent sinking. For paved but uneven surfaces (cobblestones), solid rubber tires with a soft compound are superior, as they dampen vibrations better and are completely maintenance-free.
After winter service operations, you should rinse the frame and wheel bearings with clean water. Even if the vehicles are galvanized, removing salt residue significantly extends the service life of the moving parts and wheel axles.

Thanks to the high-quality coating and choice of materials, the trolleys are weatherproof. Nevertheless, we recommend storing them under a roof or in a garden shed to protect the plastic bags from UV embrittlement and to keep the roller bearings dry.
Can these vehicles also handle stairs?
Thanks to their large rear wheels, many outdoor cleaning trolleys can be pulled over low curbs or single steps. However, for actual stairwells indoors, our compact cleaning trolleys are better suited due to their lower weight.
