Flexibility is key.
A permanently installed infrared heater is efficient, but rigid. A suitable tripod solves this problem. This is particularly valuable in rental properties where drilling holes in the facade is prohibited, or on construction sites where the heater needs to be moved along with the work progressing (building drying/workplace heating).
Which tripod is suitable for which heater?
1. Telescopic tripods (tripods)
The classic choice for high-performance radiant heaters (bright radiators).
Advantage: They are height-adjustable (often up to 2.50m). Since infrared heat spreads like light, you can direct the heater downwards onto the seating area or workbench. This ensures optimal heat distribution without "shadows".
2. Designer feet and base plates
These solutions are mostly intended for flat infrared panels (dark radiators/picture heaters).
Advantage: The heating pad stands securely on the floor. Ideal as supplemental heating in the office under the desk or in the conservatory. Some models have casters for easy movement from room to room.
Professional solutions for the catering industry
In the outdoor areas of restaurants and cafes, things often need to happen quickly. Mobile stands allow you to rearrange tables flexibly and easily take the heat source with you.

Safety checklist
A tipping over, hot radiator is a safety hazard. Pay attention to the following points:
- Weight: For heavy industrial spotlights, only use approved heavy-duty tripods.
- Tip-over switch: We strongly recommend equipping portable patio heaters with a tip-over sensor. If the device falls over, the power is immediately cut off.
- Cable routing: Make sure that the power cable does not create a tripping hazard.
