SoBlank Sodium by Hygan is a machine dishwashing detergent used in commercial dishwashers during the automatic washing process. It is a clear, pale yellow liquid that effectively cleans greasy dirt and removes heavy soiling and food residues without damaging decorations and delicate porcelain. The product is non-flammable and has a high alkaline concentration. It does not contain surfactants, NTA, EDTA, phosphates, or chlorine, and should be used in accordance with safety regulations and dosage instructions to avoid environmental hazards.

Description: Clear, pale yellow, almost odorless liquid, miscible with water in any ratio, non-flammable, specific gravity 1.21, pH 14 (concentrate), pH 12.5 ± 0.25 (1% solution). Suitable for cleaning glasses and dishes in commercial dishwashers during the automatic washing process.

Properties: Non-foaming, highly alkaline, instantly soluble. Excellent cleaning performance against greasy dirt and very good dissolving and dispersing power for heavy soiling and food residues without attacking decorations or delicate porcelain.

Dosage and Usage: The dosage largely depends on the local water hardness and ranges from 1 to 5 g/l water, depending on the degree of soiling.

Consumption: For medium local water hardness and front-loading dishwashers with approximately 35 l tank capacity, add 75 ml at the beginning of the washing cycle and 50 ml after every 5 cycles. For larger machines with 70 l tank capacity, use an initial dose of 150 ml.

Warnings: ADR class 8: UN 1824, sodium hydroxide solution, 8, II, (E). Keep out of reach of children. Store locked up. Before use, carefully read the instructions for use, as well as the hazard and safety information on the label or safety data sheet. Use the product safely with the intended protective equipment and with the necessary care when handling chemical products.

Environmental Compatibility: Does not contain surfactants, NTA, EDTA, phosphates, or chlorine. The strong alkali present is partially neutralized by saponification of fatty substances. Improper disposal into the sewer system can pose a risk to wastewater. Therefore, use only as intended, in the prescribed amounts, and with the usual care when handling chemicals.
