Infrared glass radiators: Exclusive designer warmth for your home
Combine modern heating technology with pure elegance. An infrared glass radiator is far more than just a heat source – it's a stylish design object. Whether in deep black, pure white, or as a colorful accent: the smooth glass surface blends seamlessly into sophisticated living spaces and modern bathrooms.
Thanks to special tempered safety glass (ESG), you not only enjoy maximum safety but also particularly efficient heat dissipation. Glass easily stores energy and releases it evenly as comfortable radiant heat.

What are the distinguishing features of an infrared glass heater?
An infrared glass heater consists of a high-quality heating element that is permanently attached to a glass front. When electricity flows, the glass panel heats up and emits long-wave infrared-C radiation .
What makes it special is the material itself: glass is an excellent conductor of heat.
- It allows heat waves to pass into the room almost unimpeded.
- At the same time, glass has a higher thermal mass than thin metal panels. This means that the heater continues to radiate pleasant warmth for a while even after it has been switched off.
Visually, these devices impress with their frameless or very flat design and the high-quality gloss that adds a touch of elegance to any room.
Is glass safe as a heating element? (ESG safety glass)
Many customers ask: Can the heating system break?
The answer is a clear no, provided the product is used properly. Our glass radiators are made of tempered safety glass (ESG) . This glass is extremely impact and shock resistant, as well as heat resistant.
- Break-resistant: It easily withstands the thermal stresses of heating and cooling.
- Safety feature: Should the glass break due to extreme force, it shatters into small, blunt fragments instead of sharp shards. The risk of injury is therefore minimal.
- Overheating protection: Integrated sensors immediately switch off the device in case of overheating.
The advantages of glass over metal panels
Why should you choose glass over a classic metal panel?
- Design aesthetics: The glossy surface looks significantly more sophisticated and modern. It does not yellow and is scratch-resistant.
- Hygiene and cleaning: A glass front is non-porous and extremely easy to clean. A single wipe with glass cleaner is all it takes. This makes it ideal for allergy sufferers, kitchens, and bathrooms.
- Perception of heat: The radiation from glass is often perceived as "softer" and more homogeneous.
- Variety: Available in various colors (white, black, red, etc.) or even as a mirror heater.
Areas of application: From the living room to the bathroom
Glass radiators are true all-rounders. Thanks to their IP44 protection rating (splashproof), most models can be used without problems in damp rooms.
In the bathroom
Glass radiators are particularly popular here. With optional stainless steel towel rails, the radiator becomes a multifunctional piece of bathroom furniture: it warms the room, dries the towel, and looks stunning.
In the kitchen
Cooking often produces grease and steam. Conventional radiators are difficult to clean. A glass radiator, on the other hand, can simply be wiped with a damp cloth – that's it.
In the residential and office area
A white glass heater on a white wall blends elegantly into the background. A black glass heater can be used as a deliberate contrast and design statement. Some models are even writable (with markers), making them ideal for modern offices.
Assembly options
The installation is extremely simple:
- Wall mounting: The standard solution. Thanks to invisible rear brackets, the panel appears to float in front of the wall.
- Ceiling mounting: Many glass panels are also approved for ceiling mounting. This saves wall space and creates a warming effect underfloor heating. (Please be sure to check the product details of the respective model to see if a ceiling mounting bracket is included.)
What power output is needed for which room size?
To ensure that the glass heater not only looks good but also heats efficiently, proper sizing is crucial. Calculate the required amount based on the insulation level of your house:
- Bathroom: approx. 80 - 100 watts per m²
- Living space (new construction/renovated): approx. 50 - 60 watts per m²
- Living space (old building): approx. 70 - 90 watts per m²
