Why a cover is indispensable
Many modern infrared heaters are splash-proof (IP protection class), but we strongly recommend using a cover when not in use. This is not only due to moisture, but primarily to dirt and insects .
- Odor prevention: If dust or pollen settles on the heating element, it will burn the next time the heater is switched on. This leads to unpleasant odors. A protective cover keeps the element clean.
- Optical preservation: Rain and UV radiation cause casings to fade or develop water spots over time. With a protective case, your device will still look like new even after years.
- Time saving: Especially in the restaurant industry, you don't have time to bring in the spotlights every evening. A cover can be put on in seconds.
Robust material for every type of construction
Our protective covers are made of durable, water-repellent material (often polyester or robust Oxford fabric). We offer sizes to fit all common models:
- Covers for patio heaters: These completely protect the heater head and often also the base.
- Covers for wall-mounted radiant heaters: These are simply slipped over the mounted heater and often secured with Velcro or drawstring.
Important safety notice:
Please always allow the heater to cool down completely before putting the protective cover on! Otherwise, there is a risk of melting and fire.
